About me....
I am...
A sister, daughter, friend, cousin, niece,
grand-daughter, honorary aunty, student, future rich lawyer, employee, sometimes website designer, fan-fiction
writer, long-suffering StKilda supporter, babbly email writer, and all-round nice person, of course ;-)
Enthusiastic about things I'm interested in.
Kind of shy, but loud around my friends and people close to me.
Prone to obsessiveness about things :-)
Kind of serious, but I have been known to be very silly around my friends.
So what do I do all day?
I'm a full time student at the University of
Melbourne. I'm studying Commerce and Law, and I have one year left after this
year. *g* I am also employed as a tutor by the university. I tutor two first
year subjects- Accounting 1A and Accounting 1B, which means I get to stand up in
front of classes of really bored 18 year olds and try and teach them something
about accounting... sounds like fun? And then at the end of the year, I get to
see how much they didn't learn when I mark their exams.. lol. Just kidding, I
actually really enjoy my job, I love getting to know the students, and I
certainly think it is better than my last job in retail hell. When I'm not at
uni or working, or studying, I can usually be found either with my friends or
wasting my time on the internet. :-)
I really love...
Spending time with friends and family.

Randomness
The last movie I saw at the theatres was: Moulin
Rouge (for the seventh time!).
The last movie I saw on video was: Velvet Goldmine...at 3am last night.
The last thing I watched on TV was All Saints. (Should I be admitting that?)
What I just had for dinner: Vegetarian Lasagne
Some things that make me laugh: Watching my friends' baby, Leah, playing with
her toys (the expressions on her face are so cute!), my friend Ghazal doing her
'evil laugh' :), Ewan McGregor singing 'Somewhere beyond the sea' in A Life
Less Ordinary... the Green Fairy and Sound of Music scenes in Moulin
Rouge...they are just so nutty that they crack me up... lawyer jokes,
because I can see a lot of truth in them.. lol... that TV show, Passions..
if you haven't ever seen it, it's hilariously bad (one of the characters is an
evil witch and she has this doll-child that she carries around with her
everywhere.. I kid you not!)...just being stupid with friends.
Last weird dream I had: I dreamt the other night that Baz Luhrmann went on
holidays with my friends and I, and he ended up leaving because I kept on
pestering him with questions about MR. Is that weird enough for you? I looked it
up in a dream book, but strangely, it wasn't in there.... I think I can tell you
what it means though. It means that I've seen MR too many times.
The person I talk to most online is: my friend Ghazal, probably followed by
George.
Things I like that I know I really shouldn't: Soppy songs, Neighbours,
salt and vinegar chips, cheeseburgers, playing on the Internet while I'm meant
to be working, Babysitter club books (they are sooo funny, seriously.)
The thing I'm most looking forward to right now is: going to Europe this summer
for three months!
Some Quotes...
"You can't please everybody, so make sure
you please yourself!"
"Carpe Diem! Make your lives extraordinary."
"The race is long, and ultimately, it is only with yourself.
"Tis only in their dreams that men truly be free,
Twas always thus, and always thus will be."
"Be a first rate version of yourself- not a second rate version of someone else." Judy Garland.
